15 3mm bicone or round red beads
8 3mm bicone or round light pink beads

Purple Zig-Zag Necklace

This is the purple version of the Zig-Zag Necklace. The finished size is approximately 17" long. I used Chinese crystal beads instead of Swarovski crystal beads here. Chinese crystal beads are much cheaper but the cuttings are rougher, not all beads have the same size and not as sparkling. For the same 4mm beads, the Chinese version is slightly bigger. So if you use Swarovski crystals beads for this project you may need one more set to accomplish the same length.

Materials:
33 4mm bicone crystal beads - purple AB
30 4mm bicone crystal beads - light grey
size 11 seed beads - matt galvanized amethyst
1 10mm faceted crystal rondell bead - light gray
70 inches fishing line

How to make a Soccer (Football) with Beads

The quadrennial FIFA inspired me to make this soccer ball. I don't have 3mm white beads so I used transparent beads instead. The smaller ball on the left was made with size 11 chalk white and black seed beads.

This is another pattern for making an ornate bead/ball. Use different colors of beads to make it look more like an ornate bead and less like a soccer ball.

Materials:

60 3mm round beads (transparent AB)
size 11 seed beads (jet black)
Fishing line 90cm long

How to make an Anchor with Beads

The top part of this anchor is actually a cross. The technique used to make the cross here is a little different from the "How to make a cross pendant" tutorial. The pattern is not that difficult but requires a lot of sewing up of the two sides so a bit time consuming. Add a necklace between the top bicone beads to use it as a pendant. Add a lanyard to use it as a cell phone charm, a short ball chain to make it a key chain, a ribbon to make it a handbag decor. . . I added a ring band and made a ring out of it.
Written pattern is located at this great site: http://www.artbeads.co.kr/recipes/?s_code=ABAG&s_pcode=70700881

Materials:
6 4mm bicone shaped beads
Approximately 50 3mm bicone beads
size 11 seed beads - silver lined, gold lined
fishing line (about 0.2mm) 90cm for the cross part; 60cm for the bottom part

A Little Easter Chick

This is the chicken version of the penguin. Follow the instruction below after you added the last bead of a beaded ball. I don't have any yellow bicone beads at hand so I used faceted plastic round beads. I think it would look better with bicone beads.

Material:
34 4mm yellow beads
3 4mm orange beads
2 3mm black beads

Beaded component: bead cap, dangle earring, stud earring

This is a very versatile component. Easy to make and only use 4 crystal beads. I showed you how to make 4 variations with this component in the second video: as an earring dangler, a bead cap and a stud earring. You can also use it as the center piece of a ring by adding ring band around it. I used very small size beads for this project because it looks delicate and more like silver and diamond this way. You can use bigger beads to make bigger pieces and different color combination to make a fun piece.

Material:
Main Component:
4 3mm bicone swarovski crystal bead (black diamond AB)
Tiny seed beads in matt silver, faceted cut
15cm fishing line

Additional materials for dangle earrings:
Jump rings
Earring hooks
Bigger Beads (>6mm)

Additional material when use as a bead cap:
Bigger beads (>6mm)
Head pins
Earring hooks

Additional material for stud earrings:
Eye pins
Earring backings
Jewelry glue or thin wire

Wire cutter
Round nose pliers

A Little Bag with Heart

This is a variation of the little bags. I used plastic bicone beads here and the quality of those beads are not that that good. The "heart" will turn out better if you use Swarovski crystal beads which provide more precise cuts.

Materials:
40 3mm Bicone bead (white/transparent)
3 3mm Bicone bead (red)
50cm Fishing line

8 4 mm bicone beads (jet)
A few size 11 seed beads

2 15 cm fishing lines for the main parts
